Bio

Jen Sorensen won the Herblock Prize in 2014 and was named a Pulitzer Prize Finalist in 2017. She is also the recipient of the 2013 Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for editorial cartooning. Jen received the National Cartoonists Society Award for editorial cartoons in 2013.

Sorensen’s cartoons have appeared in the The Nib, Daily Kos, The Nation, In These Times, Politico, NPR.org, AlterNet, Funny Times, Los Angeles Times, Ms. Magazine, the Village Voice, the Austin Chronicle, and many other alternative newspapers around the country.
