Bio

Paul Berge’s weekly editorial cartoons have been syndicated by Q Syndicate to LGBT newspapers and magazines around the United States since 1998. He previously drew the weekly editorial cartoon for the Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee from 1997 to 2005, and racinepost.com from 2009 to 2011, In Step magazine of Milwaukee from 1996 to 2003; and earlier for the Journal Times of Racine, Wisconsin, the UW-Milwaukee Post, UW-Parkside Ranger, and the Manitou Messenger at his alma mater, St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. And yet, he persisted.

Paul resides in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, with his husband, Chris.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the AAEC is to champion and defend editorial cartooning and free speech as essential to liberty in the United States and throughout the world.

The AAEC aims to be an international leader in support of the human, civil, and artistic rights of editorial cartoonists around the world, and to stand with other international groups in support of the profession.
