Those darn cartoonists

One of the topics that came up repeatedly during the Rob Rogers' story is the 'trouble' an editorial cartoon can cause an editor or publisher. A cartoonist with a strong opinion often causes a strong reaction, and generates calls, letters and blowback from angry readers.

In the past week, two conservative cartoonists roiled readers with their work. AAEC member Tom Stiglich got an earful after drawing a cartoon about MS-13, while Gary McCoy set off a tiny firestorm with a cartoon about Trump's immigrant crisis that many people questioned.
