The AAEC and Association of Canadian Cartoonists will be teaming up with the Université du Québec à Montréal for a 3-day celebration political cartoonists, October 3-6, 2024.

The Billy Ireland opens a timely cartoon exhibit on racism in America

The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum presents a new retrospective in cartoons, “STILL: Racism in America,” opening this Saturday, May 21, at 6pm. The exhibit will run May 21 through October 23, and will be open during the AAEC/CXC convention in the fall.

If you can’t make it to Columbus for this weekend’s opening reception, OSU will be live streaming the event online for free at 7pm, with a discussion between cartoonist Barbara Brandon-Croft and curator Tara Nakashima Donahue about the show. Registration is required for the Zoom event:
