Cartoonist Bill Sanders has died. One of the longest (and feistiest) members of the AAEC, Bill was president of the cartoonist association from 1966-1967. Although he officially retired in the early 1990s, Bill was still spitting out cartoons up until the end of 2020.
An obit in Sander’s long-term home paper the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel collects the remembrances of the firebrand by cartoonists he mentored.
