Rall vs LA Times: Update

Last week, cartoonist Ted Rall vows to take his fight against the LA Times to the (state) Supreme Court after an Appeals court hands him a setback: https://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-ted-rall-latimes-defamation-case-20190117-story.html

Rall is having to battle a two-pronged attack from the until-recently TRONC owned paper. The media giant hit the freelancer with an anti-SLAPP suit 3 years ago in an effort to crush Rall's original lawsuit.
