Last minute 2020 award news

Cartoonist (and incoming AAEC Vice-President) Ed Hall did good at this year’s Florida Press Awards.

The illustrator and editorial cartoonist won three awards for his work in both The Press and Jacksonville’sFolio Weekly in the Florida Press Club’s annual journalism competition.

The contest winners were announced virtually (of course), and Hall won both first and second place in the illustration/artist illustration (Classes A, B and C) category, which includes newspapers large and small. He also won second place in the illustration/editorial cartooning (Class C) category, which includes small daily and non-daily newspapers.
