“That’s been the problem with the conversation about race. It’s been dictated by the fact that whenever white people feel uncomfortable, it stops, which is about 5.2 seconds” says Keith Knight, in a talk at VCU last week.
The popular cartoonist is currently on an East Coast tour with his successful cartoon/lecture tour. Knight has found his autobiographical and humorous presentation effective in reaching audiences on the serious topics of race and police violence in America, and is regularly invited to address police departments on their relationship with minority communities.
