Chappatte drops new book about being dropped by the NYTimes

2020 is looking to be a banner year for cartoonists publishing books, so if you have something coming out, let us know. We’ll be posting a Book Nook on the news feed here on Fridays when there’s a release.

First up: Remember when Patrick Chappatte got canned by the New York Times for a cartoon he didn’t do? Ah yeah, good times. Chappatte has just released “This is the End,” a collection of his last cartoons from the Times before they were banned. The book also has his essay about the paper’s actions that ended up going viral in the week’s after the NYT‘s terrible no good decision, and the text of Patrick’s subsequent TED talk.
