Bio
In 1984, after working for three Kansas City advertising agencies, Bob founded his own firm, Unell Associates, Inc. That same year, Bob and his wife Barbara co-founded Twins Magazine, the national magazine for parents of multiples. In 2000, Bob and his wife Barbara established Back in the Swing, a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to the establishment of post-treatment medical care for breast cancer survivors.  Bob and Barbara have also served as an adjunct professors at the Communications Studies Department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  Today, the couple runs the Raised with Love and Limits Foundation which supports the new public health movement of preventing toxic stress in children's lives.  In March of 2001, Bob fulfilled a childhood dream of being a cartoonist by launching a weekly cartoon strip, "The Tech Channel", in The Kansas City Star. In 2003, he began a weekly editorial cartoon series, "Panel Discussion" on the Business Forum page of The Kansas City Star. In 2012, his cartoons also began to appear in 913, The Star's weekly section serving Kansas readers. In 2016, Bob received first place for best editorial cartoon from the Missouri Press Association.
