Don Landgren Jr. drawing award-winning editorial cartoons for Central Massachusetts publications for 40 years. Currently He draws a cartoon for the the Worcester Telegram & Gazette's Sunday Telegram and Worcester Magazine, a free weekly arts and entertainment publication. Some of my cartoons can be seen on USAToday.com and occasionally featured in the opinion page of the print edition of USAToday. They are distributed to Gannett's newspapers through their USA Today Network. He is once again drawing editorial cartoons for The Landmark, a weekly newspaper in Central Massachusetts. For 26 years, he drew editorial cartoons for The Landmark from 1982 to 2008. Also in 2020, he started drawing cartoons for Compliance Week, a business intelligence service on corporate governance, risk, and compliance. From 2014 to 2021 my cartoons were distributed by More Content Now to Gatehouse's 100 daily newspapers and nearly 1,000 weekly newspapers and their corresponding web sites.
He has won many awards for his editorial cartoons and illustrations from numerous press associations. He has won 24 awards, from the New England Newspaper and Press Association, six from Massachusetts Press Association, 14 from the Local Media Association/Suburban Newspapers of America and four from the National Newspaper Association. He has won almost 100 awards from various newspaper associations. New England Associated Press News Executives Association (NEAPNEA) and from the Society for News Design as well as UPI New England for his illustrations, page designs, graphics, ad and marketing designs.
Don is a member of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, the International Society of Caricaturists Artists and the National Cartoonists Society.
Since 1998 Don has been a professional caricaturist, drawing for private and corporate events as PARTOONS: Caricatures by Don Landgren Jr. He draws a crowd at all types functions from weddings to trade shows to conventions to private parties.
He is a graduate of Anna Maria College.
