Political cartoonists in the AAEC recently joined cartoonists from Nicaragua and the Philippines to discuss the similar threats both countries face from authoritarianism.
Filipino-American artist Angelo Lopez, and Nicaraguan cartoonist Pedro X. Molina (currently living in the U.S. after receiving political asylum), logged on with Filipino political cartoonists Bern Fabro, Kartunista Zach and Dibujo Gasgo to talk authoritarianism and the challenges of drawing truth to power. The online conversation is now available on YouTube.
