NOTE: The John Fischetti Award for Editorial Cartooning has been discontinued by Columbia College Chicago. The college still offers a John Fischetti Scholarship each year to eligible journalism students. Also, the Scripps Howard Award for Editorial Cartooning has been folded into the Foundation's Walker Stone Award, which is open to all op/ed writers, artists and on-air personalities in all mediums.

The AAEC aims to be an international leader in support of the human, civil, and artistic rights of editorial cartoonists around the world, and to stand with other international groups in support of the profession.
