Fourth time’s the charm! After years of disruptions from the covid pandemic and other hurdles, the AAEC finally joined the ACC and host Wes Tyrell in Montreal for a 3-day long cartoonist confab in October 2024. It was worth the wait.
Michael Peterson did his usual granular on-the-ground reporting from the convention. You can read his first installment here: https://www.dailycartoonist.com/index.php/2024/10/05/csotd-aaec-acc-24-day-one/
Meanwhile, Graeme MacKay continued his tradition of penning a lengthy wrap up of the gathering. Read the whole thing here: https://mackaycartoons.net/2024/10/06/cartoonist-convention/
