2025 AAEC Convention registration now open

This year the AAEC is partnering with the Small Press Expo in North Bethesda, Maryland (just outside of Washington, DC) for our 2025 Convention, September 11-14.

Hotel booking is now available at the Bethesda North Marriott. We have a block of rooms set aside for the AAEC at $140 a night.

To book your room head to the following link: https://book.passkey.com/e/50877351.

Select “I have an access code” from the list box and enter AAECSPX25 as your code to reserve your room.

NOTE: Please DO NOT USE the “Attendee” selection from the drop down, as that is for SPX guests. (While the AAEC is going to be participating in SPX events, our convention is overlapping the Small Press Expo, and they have a separate room block).

Click here to go to our convention registration page. The fee for this year is $175 for members and member guests.

Our confab starts Thursday, September 11, with a happy hour and welcome at the hotel bar. Friday has AAEC specific panels and programming, along with the annual business meeting. Saturday sees the start of SPX, where we will have panels open to the public and a table on the convention floor. We’ll have updates regarding the panel lineup in the coming weeks.
