Cartoons & Cocktails Slated for October
Editorial cartoonist, and 2007 Pulitzer Prize winner Walt Handelsman has been named co-chair of the Oct. 3 "Cartoons & Cocktails 2007" fund-raising event at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
"Cartoons & Cocktails" is an annual event, dating back 20 years, that includes an auction of original editorial cartoon art. The money raised benefits the "Young D.C." teen newspaper, Cartoonists Rights Network International, and the National Press Club scholarship program.
