Roy Peterson's Brother Laid to Rest -- 60 years After WWII
Via the Daily Cartoonist comes this bittersweet story about the missing brother of Roy Peterson"
"Vancouver Sun editorial cartoonist, Roy Peterson’s brother was one of two Canadian airmen that were shot down over the Netherlands during WWII and whose body was never recovered. Now 60 years later, Flying Officer Sidney Peterson’s remains will be brought home after a five year salvage project by the Dutch people to recover the crash site. A funeral and burial service was held Wednesday."
