The Berryman Award is open to editorial cartoonists of newspapers and magazines for work that exhibits power to influence public opinion, plus good drawing and striking effect. The winner will receive a $2,500 prize and plaque at the National Press Foundation's Annual Awards Dinner in Washington, D.C.
Launched in 1989, the award was created in memory of Clifford K. & James T. Berryman, the only father and son editorial cartoonists to win the Pulitzer Prize.
