Warren Wins "Luckovich" Contest
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution received more than 200 entries in its contest asking readers to submit cartoons while Mike Luckovich was on vacation -- and the winner is William Warren, who was also this year's AAEC John Locher Memorial Award recipient as top college cartoonist.
William Warren won the AJC contest, receiving 541 out of 3,158 votes cast online.
The Journal-Constitution offered readers a chance to submit political cartoons while Mike Luckovich was on vacation in July. An AJC.com note about the contest asks: "Think you can do better?" That might be a tall order given that Luckovich won a Pulitzer Prize this year for his AJC cartoons.
