Lange's Work Part of New Museum
Since 1950, Jim Lange has worked as an editorial cartoonist for the Daily Oklahoman in Oklahoma City, generating some 17,000 cartoons. Now his work will be part of the Oklahoma Cartoonists Collection when the exhibit opens later this month.
The Cartoonists Collection will be part of the new Toy & Action Figure Museum when it opens October 15 in Pauls Valley. Curated by Tulsa writer Michael Vance, the Cartoonists Collection features published artists and writers in the comics field from Oklahoma, including Lange and Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould.
