A Crab of His Own
Kevin Kallaugher was one of dozens of Baltimore-area artists who contributed to the recent "Crabtown" fundraiser.
Like many major cities in recent years, Baltimore has installed large public sculptures throughout the metropolitan area, each a creature uniquely decorated with work from a local artist.
"Mine is titled 'A Bushel of Steaming Satire' " said Kallaugher via email, "and is festooned with over 100 KAL cartoons. All the crabs will be auctioned off in November to raise money for city schools."
Kal's crab currently is on display outside of the offices of The Baltimore Sun.
