Tom Stiglich
Cartooning is Tom's life.
He started as a child and hasn't stopped. Born and raised in Philadelphia, drawing has been a great way to support serious cheese steak addiction.
While in high school, his first cartoon was published by the Philadelphia Daily News.
He attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia and graduated in June 1988.
Tom's cartoons have appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer, USA Today, The New York Times, Newsweek, Newsweek Japan, Time magazine, The Chicago Sun-Times, King Features Syndicate's The New Breed, Mad Kids magazine, J.P. Trostle's 'Attack of the Political Cartoonists' and in the annual book series 'Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year.'
Recently, he received a Citation of Excellence 2007 Ranan Lurie award from the United Nations and currently has a cartoon on exhibit at the Charles M. Schulz museum in Santa Rosa, California.
Tom's editorial cartoons appear in many newspapers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He is a member of the National Cartoonists Society and the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists.
