Jesse Springer
Based in Eugene, Oregon, Jesse has been drawing weekly editorial cartoons for papers local and statewide since 1994. He won the Grand Prize in the 2007 Science Idol cartoon contest, sponsored by the Union of Concerned Scientists. He hopes that one day, he will be able to quit his job as self-employed graphic artist and pursue editorial cartooning full time. He is also hoping that this lottery ticket finally has the winning number.
