Brian McFadden

Brian McFadden has been drawing the alt-weekly comic strip, Big Fat Whale since 2001. It appears in The Boston Phoenix, Portland Phoenix, and Gayzette Denver. It has appeared in the Cleveland Scene/Free Times, Chico Beat, Buffalo Beast, among many other publications over the past decade.

In June 2011, he began drawing "The Strip," for The New York Times' Sunday Review, which replaced the Week in Review section.

In early 2012, he joined the comics line-up at Daily Kos.

He's 32 and lives in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.

Description of Presentation:	A slideshow of recent cartoons, with behind-the-scenes commentary. Generally I default to an even mix of my alt-weekly comics and the NYT's "The Strip," but that can be adjusted depending on the audience.
Length of Presentation:	1 hour
Availability:	Weekends and Mondays, with several weeks advance notice.
Terms:	Outside of Greater Boston, travel and lodging, plus an honorarium.
Setup Needs:	Projector with VGA input.
