Dan Darrow
Here is the official tagline on the ER's website:
"Dan Darrow's cartoons have appeared in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner and The Ester Republic, winning him the Alaska Press Club's 2002 award for Best Editorial Cartoon, and 3rd and 2nd place in the following two years. His work has been used in political campaigns and by nonprofit organizations. He was also the official t-shirt designer for the World Rock Skipping Championship in Lake Minchumina."
In reality, Dan was cloned in 1969 and has lived in Indiana, California, New Mexico, Georgia, and was forcibly removed to Alaska in 1993. It was in Fairbanks where Dan found himself and began his transcendental journey and perfected the act of walking upright. Dan started pestering the editor of the Ester Republic in 2000 to print his cave drawings and luckily, he was later invited to join the staff in 2003. Dan enjoys sketching, hiking, camping, biking, fishing, rough housing with his two monkeys, and getting his wife to say, "DANIEL!"
