Jeffrey Cole

Winner of first place in the catagory illustration among the eleven competing schools in               TIPA (Texas Intercollegiate Press Association awards) in 2006,
with a career in newspaper illustration and cartoons beginning in 1990 at
The Satellite Judson Highschool (where Saddam was even then in the funny papers)
illustrator of The Painting Penguin by J. Fuller in 1991 (paid hourly)
and, above all,

Born 454 years to the day of the death of Leonardo da Vinci in Vicenza, Italy (May the 2nd, 1973)
to soon move to Texas and see changes from Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and the Carter administration to the Reagan Era to the falling of the Berlin Wall to the glory days of Clinton to the Simpson circus (while employed under former Governor George W. Bush while working for
the Department of MHMR) to the fiascos of this passed decade, Jeffrey Cole has shown his
readers time and again that irony is always beautifully juxtaposed to our expectations in this,
just Nation.

Mister Cole proposes that moments can be portrayed as metaphors with elegant handiwork to ensure a padded landing on the common ground. Since laughter is a subconscious understanding, Jeffrey Cole draws upon the perceptive nature of the subconscious to drive home messages in much the same way a sneaky ad agent might to his viewing public.

At 33, Mister Cole has an extensive portfolio of two-dimensional art including formats that include
digital, photolithography, serigraphy (silk screen), intaglio, lino-cut, and, of course, printed works
from the editorial page as well as the comics. Comics strips have a special place in Jeffrey's heart because of their potential for helping folks find their inner peace. It is for this compassionate reason Jeffrey Cole has his price. At the end of the day, there is no one more in need of tender, lovin' care than a society's artist. He thinks that we would all be better off if we did not take ourselves so seriously all the time. He told me to tell you that....oh, I'll just say it, I don't have a fancy secretary or an inner-city office, it is I that write this to you!

For now, this is where you can look over some of my work.
