M.e Cohen
"Angry is no way to go through life, unless you're a political cartoonist".
M.e. Cohen has been a professional illustrator since 1983 and in that time he has drawn over 10,000 illustrations for major publications, worldwide. Included in that long list are The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Time magazine, Newsweek and many other really impressive names.
He dabbled in political cartooning in his early years while living in New York City for various publications but alas had to commit to a career as an art director and illustrator in order to eat. In addition to his career as an illustrator he worked as an Advertising Art Director creating some very good campains for various not so good household products. M.e. had the opportunity to warp young minds while teaching at the School of Visual Arts.
For years M.e. enjoyed the view of the World Trade Center from his studio. Then one day crazed Jihadist slammed two planes full of unsuspecting passengers into them. It was after this event that M.e. decided to return to political cartooning. In the three years since he returned in earnest to the field of political cartooning his syndicated cartoons have appeared in hundreds of papers and countless websites across the globe. His work has been collected in several books and will soon be featured in the upcoming Attitude 3.
He considers himself to be blessed with his beautiful wife, two sons and a few friends. Everyone else are essentially hanger ons.
