Matt Bors
With his weekly strip, Idiot Box, Matt Bors relentlessly follows the latest absurdities in American politics and culture. From war to religion to obsessive lawncare, Bors cast a mercilessly satirical eye on today's society. Idiot Box appears in The Village Voice, Cleveland Free Times, The Funny Times, Seven Days, The Buffalo BEAST, and The Free Press. It can also be found online at Cagle.com, ucomics.com, and others.
He has also done comics for The Nation, The ACLU, Free Inquiry, campusprogress.org, and The Seattle Stranger, among others.
Matt's work appears in the anthology Attitude 3: The New Subversive Online Cartoonist edited by Ted Rall.
His illustration work can be found in dozens of magazines and newspapers across the country and has been featured on the covers of numerous newsweeklies, including the NY Press, Miami New TImes, Boston Phoenix, and OC Weekly.
Matt Bors graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2003 and currently resides in Portland, OR.
