Kate Salley Palmer - Greenville Journal (SOUTH CAROLINA, USA) Retired Member
Kate Salley Palmer "Salley" is Kate Salley Palmer's maiden name, so you can just call her Kate.

She started doing political cartoons for The Greenville News in 1975.

In 1976, Kate joined the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists and attended her first AAEC convention.  She and Etta Hulme, of The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, were the only two women cartoonists in attendance that year.  Kate's husband, Jim, was the first male member of the then-called "Ladies Auxillary".

Jeff Parker

Growing up with rockets on Florida's Space Coast, Jeff Parker began his cartooning career as an editorial cartoonist at Florida Environments newsmagazine in 1989 followed by Orlando Business Journal in 1990 before joining the staff of his hometown newspaper, FLORIDA TODAY, in 1992. He “retired” from editorial cartooning in 2013 after more than 21 years at FLORIDA TODAY.

Donald E. Peoples

Graphic designer/cartoonist/photographer Donald E. Peoples is a native of Akron, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from The University of Akron. Since 1989 Mr. Peoples has been a graphic artist at the Akron-Summit County Public Library. Through a wide variety of free-lance assignments, his creative artwork has graced everything from newspapers to tote bags to commemorative plates. Joel Pett Joel Pett Bio Born Bloomington, Indiana, 1953. Lived in Ibadan, Nigeria, 1959-1964. Travelled in over thirty foreign countries on five continents. College major at Indiana: French. Freelanced for nine years before joining Lexington Herald-Leader in 1984. Joined USAToday as contributing cartoonist in 2002. 3-time finalist for Pulitzer Prize for cartooning, winner in 2000.
