Ann Telnaes

Ann Telnaes creates editorial cartoons in various mediums- animation, visual essays, live sketches, and traditional print- for the Washington Post.  She won the Pulitzer Prize in 2001 for her print cartoons.

Telnaes' work was shown in a solo exhibition at the Great Hall in the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress in 2004. Her first book, "Humor's Edge", was published by Pomegranate Press and the Library of Congress in 2004. Jake Thrasher

Jake Thrasher is a student at the University of Mississippi studying Biochemistry. From 2015-2017, he was the senior editorial cartoonist/illustrator for the Daily Mississippian. He currently cartoons for magnoliastatelive.com, the Oxford Eagle, and the Huffington Post. 

Jake was interviewed by the Huffington Post on their Listen To America Tour, and was a panelist for the conclusion of the tour in New Orleans. He spoke on cartooning in the deep south and the backlash he gets for cartooninst against white supremacy, the KKK, and bigotry.

Dennis Townsend I'm a lifelong Tacoma, Washington resident; hence, like many from the Pacific NW, am equipped with webbed feet. I started drawing cartoons as editor of my high school newspaper, then the phone company grabbed me off the street and made me go to work for them for 42 years. JOHN TREVER BIOGRAPHY

 John Trever has served as the Albuquerque Journal's editorial cartoonist since 1976.

His work has been honored by the Society of Professional Journalists, the Free Press Association, the Overseas Press Club, the New Mexico Legislature and the Albuquerque Arts Alliance.
